African Traditional Religions Demystified
April 25 @ 12:00 pm - 2:00 pm UTC+8HK$200
“Witchcraft”, “Black Magic” and “Juju”; these are some of the terms ascribed to African indigenous religions by colonialists and contemporaries alike. But what do we actually practice? And how do we experience and take pride in our indigenous religions? Come join this session to learn about our cosmologies and how we interact with the landscape. We will demystify African indigenous religions; from the religion of Mwari on the continent to voodoo among the African diaspora.
