Through African cultural immersive activities, including African drumming and dance, art, cooking workshops, and design thinking tools, students will get a solid appreciation of the culture of the communities they learn to serve, and prepare to be active local and global citizens.
Project Objectives:
To learn and appreciate the African cultures and its perspectives through cultural activities
To identify social problems faced by African migrant communities in Hong Kong and come up with possible solutions using Design Thinking tools
To develop students’ problem solving skills in a real-life context
It is a fun and family-friendly space to find heartwarming African food and direct connection to the local African community. The center is for everyone, where they can freely express themselves and their ideas.
