Program Description
Inclusive Education is one of the most effective ways to promote an inclusive and diverse society. It promotes equal opportunities and support for all students, regardless of their diverse backgrounds, abilities, or learning styles. It also includes raising teachers’ awareness of inclusive education principles. These comprehensive workshops are designed to empower teachers to engage in Culturally Responsive Teaching (CRT) the knowledge, skills, and strategies needed to create truly inclusive learning environments and challenge their biases using an open format.
Program Objectives
To deepen teachers’ understanding of inclusive education principles and the importance of fostering a diverse and equitable classroom
To challenge preconceived notions and biases on race, gender, religion, social class, and neurodivergence in the classroom
To equip educators with practical strategies and classroom adaptations to support students with diverse needs effectively
To facilitate collaboration and knowledge-sharing among teachers to strengthen their inclusive teaching practices
To enhance participants’ confidence in addressing diverse student populations and fostering a culture of acceptance and respect in school
