AFRICA CENTER HONG KONG

BOOK CLUB

A safe to connect and learn about African cultures through reading and discussing African Literature books written by African authors. We meet once every 3 to 4 weeks.

FIRESIDE CHAT

We hold monthly fireside chats on issues of interest to both Chinese and African communities. We invite prominent members of the African community to be our panelists.

KIDZ CLUB

A resource sharing and support community primarily for kids of African descent. Kids of all ethnicities are welcome for a day of fun and learning.

CHUNGKING MANSIONS TOUR

Some say it’s the only place that makes Hong Kong different from any Chinese city. A symbol for globalization, ‘home’ to many Africans, South Asians, and more.

I value the [African Literature Book Club] as I value Women’s Day and Black History Month because African literature deserves a spotlight.
