This workshop is designed to help students understand
the historical context of the N-word and its reclamation
by black artists and some communities. In this workshop
students will discuss the value of words and social
contexts in which racial slurs are exchanged. In addition
students will reflect on their privilege and understanding
of racial inequality through a spectrum game.
