Program Description
This is a workshop that is based on the design thinking
model. In this workshop, students tackle a social problem
in a practical manner. Using participant observation and
interviews students will be asked to formulate a solution
for a problem they are presented with. The problem will
be one faced by the Africa Center or the African
community at large. In this manner, they will have the
chance to learn about the African community whilst also
developing their social innovation skills.
