Quilting & Hip Hop: How black Americans resisted segregations by creating culture

Progam Description

The participants will immerse themselves into the black art cultures that flourished in African American communities. We will explore two art forms, traditional and contemporary, participants can explore their creativity while getting inspirations from the African American quilting and hip hop cultures. We will end the day with a soul food buffet lunch/ dinner curated by the Africa Center Hong Kong’s chefs.
