In this Virtual African Arts Workshop, the participants will be immersed into African culture through a hands-on arts workshop. It consists of three parts; 1) introduction to Africa Center Hong Kong, 2) introduction to Africa and African arts, and 3) hands-on African arts workshop (e.g. Ndebele Postcard Making Workshop).
Ndebele Postcard Making Workshop
In the Ndebele Postcard Making Workshop, you can learn about the Ndebele House Paintings while designing your own postcard. Ndebele House Painting is a style of art practiced by the Ndebele people of South Africa & Zimbabwe and it symbolizes the resilience of the community as it is an identity marker.
